Hallie and Garrett's wedding day was the perfect celebration of love, faith, and fall color. What made Hallie and Garrett's wedding day especially memorable was the venue itself. Their wedding took place at The Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation in Waltham, Massachusetts. The museum is a historic textile mill on the banks of the Charles River and provided the perfect industrial backdrop full of unique character. Situated along the river with the orange and red hues of autumn in full swing, it was the perfect setting to tell their love story.
From the moment the day began, the mood was full of quiet anticipation and joy. Hallie and Garrett shared a first look along the brick walkway by the river. Having a first look is a great way to not only get most of your formal photos done prior to the ceremony, but to be able to spend most of your wedding day by your partner's side. We then went on to take wedding party and family formals in the nearby park where their ceremony would later be held.
Their ceremony took place beneath a canopy of colorful trees, with leaves gently falling around them as they exchanged their vows. They even had some of their closest friends come up and share a few words about their friendship during their ceremony. You could truly feel how loved these two are by all of their friends and family in attendance. The love and faith that Hallie and Garrett share is so evident and inspiring. The couple exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife before making their way to the museum for cocktail hour.
The cocktail hour took place inside the museum, surrounded by vintage trucks, industrial details, ad unique historical displays. It was such a one-of-a-kind setting and the perfect backdrop for guests to mingle, laugh, and soak in the atmosphere. As the sun began to set, we slipped away for some golden portraits on the boardwalk. The light was warm and glowing, the perfect representation of the warmth of their wedding day.
Once the newlyweds were introduced into their reception, the energy in the room was unmatched. Hallie and Garret shared a beautifully choreographed first dance filled with twirls, dips, and pure joy. The evening continued with good food, heartfelt speeches, cake cutting, and plenty of dancing to close out the night. The groomsmen also performed a choreographed dance before open dancing kicked off which definitely made for some big smiles and laughs.
It was such an honor to capture this incredible wedding day near Boston for Hallie and Garrett. Every detail, from the autumn colors to the museum's character, came together so beautifully.
